3rd grade logic for 3rd Gen owners or soon to be owners... sounds about right to me
Why don't you grow these balls you speak of and got drive and or buy one yourself and tell the rest of the community how you just wasted 40k on a truck not worth more than 30k that is not only ugly as fuck but also isn't off road capable due to dumb ass designs and engineering it can't even make it down a normal hill:rofl::stirthepot:

Well older trucks did not do that, but this truck even has oil level sensor, so ability to shutdown in low pressure would not be a surprise. Toyota must have seen something if they put oil level sensor. Now the question what about trucks that don't have that sensor?

Other model Toyota engines have been burning off oil during normal operation. RAV4s come to mind. Customers complaining that engines come in almost dry of oil even before the oil change intervals. It only makes sense that they would take feedback from other engines and add sensors to make the owner aware of such a situation and reduce the chances of a catastrophic failure.

Lots of cars have added oil level sensors. It is a much better indicator than just the pressure sensor that pretty much comes on about the time your engine is wrecked. People don't check their oil much nowadays, and the change intervals are 3x what they used to be. Seem like a good way to protect everyone's interests.

OP had a fluke, one-off stall and Aer32 has no problem as he misread the instrument display.

I think this about sums it up. BlueT doesn't even know who the OP is, nor does he realize that OP has already admitted his mistake and that there is no oil pressure issue.

Must be a tough time in the BlueT household these days, he spends hours and hours a day here trying to troll but he's too dumb to even realize what he's trying to troll about has already been solved. Must be depressing.

    The better coast
My brothers Tahoe will have the fuel gauge shown near empty on a steep decline even when it's 1/2 - 3/4 full.

Well since you are so sure yourself why don't you do the test and post the video. You are still making excuses.....:D
I am sure everybody here are curious to see if your trucks engine blow up. Come on don't be a wuss.
If you sure there is no problem than I don't see why you are chickening out. :boink:

I will do it. My test was cut short due to shit tons of rains. Once it dries I'll get the low oil level to light up and Rev for min to try and get the low pressure light on.....

Send me $10 for gas, $75 for my time, and a Gopro and I'll gladly do it.

Oh you won't send me those things?

or maybe Toyota realizes there are a bunch of people who don't know how to check the oil level using a dipstick or even bother to take the time .:D

Oh don't get me wrong, I think oil level sensor is great idea. I hope they don't remove dipstick like they did for transmission. That would suck.
