Ok, and I have a 2016 and go up and down hills and inclines/declines all the time as well with no problems.

Your point is absolutely irrelevant, and if we are being honest, your point is quite retarded.

I'll repeat: the only people that post are people with problems, not people w/o them. There has been just one single dealer confirmed issue on one single truck posted here so far after more than a month of people putting thousands of miles on their trucks. That is quite amazing if you ask me. Are the tens of thousands of people w/o a single issue supposed to post every day? Internet forums are the victim of extreme population bias. Implying that there are widespread issues based upon one single case is ridiculous.

Some of you need to stop drinking BlueT's kool-aid. As I and many others have pointed out, he consistently lies and manipulates shit to try and troll the forum.

    Next.

The picture is very misleading. It doesnt show the side profile of the newer pan. The 16 holds more oil than the 15 and side by side they are similar. 2015 on the left 2016 on the right.

sounds like the lovely subaru problem.

traction control disabled light comes on, CEL comes on and the transmission warning light comes on. Turn off the car disconnect battery for 15 min, goes away.

Dealer even knows about it and does nothing about it.

If it continues to happen I'd be concerned.

I'm surprised it didn't register the fault for his truck though.
Hell anything that comes on for my VW, if you scan whether its still a fault or not it shows up in the coding.
Even lightbulbs that are burnt out show up in the scan.

How did I contradict myself? Don't get mad. I never said people buy cars to get it fixed. Next time I'll put on my sarcasm font when I say stuff for people like you who take comments too seriously. You're a smart one to know that a warranty isn't for life.

You are an idiot, read the post before, it was in response to the member who wrote "EVERY car has problems" I was saying no they don't to make a point, so no it is relevant. Not to mention the fact that I said "may still be a fluke" its a new design, there will be hickups and people with issues and yes more issues than non issues are brought to the forefront on a forum like this, look at my member number, been here longer dude, not new to this stuff or that concept. And Im not on BlueT's side or some of the hard core 3rd gen guys either. Just stating facts and obvious things. Relax, read more throughly before you jump to conclusions and post temper tantrums.

Maybe try to not be so sensitive. I quoted the wrong post on accident.

Simmer down sally, just don't snag your purse strap on the way out.

Im fine, but sometimes not you but some of the guys in this thread grab pitch forks and start chanting nonsense and throwing stones for no reason. I just got back from a test drive of a 3rd gen, nice truck, just not for me. Same for 1st and 2nd gen and 3rd gen guys we each have our own preferences and each truck has its own flaws/quirks. And that was my point was the purse strap comment necessary?

    Word.

Purse comment was for fun. Its the internet. This place takes shit wayyyy too seriously.

As a side note, looks like the dude in the power steering leaking thread just realized that there actually isn't a leak in his truck...but he still felt the need to run to the internet to try and crucify Toyota. Imagine that.

That dude still believes that there was a leak, and the dealership repaired it and covered it up.
