Fucking criminals seem to have more rights than us ordinary hard working/law abiding citizens. I have had my car broken in and damaged before and all I could think of was killing that motherfawker if I ever found out who he/she/they were. Good thing I did not find out who those motherfawker were or I'd be sitting behind bars and those low-life scums would still be doing what they do best out there.

Would this go for after market alarms as well? I have some P.O.S. after market alarm on my truck (the name escapes me, came with the truck from Toyota) and am going on a 2 week roadtrip here pretty soon. Lots of cheap motels. May be a good idea for security?

Kevinztaco, I would wholeheartedly and emphatically support legislation that prevents people who think like you do from owning or possessing any firearms.

You can think you are hard working and law abiding, but that wouldn't entail you then breaking a law. So you'd be just another low life criminal. But you are different than they are?

    Obviously you're lying to yourself.

Park under a light if you can, and as close to your room window as possible. Both is ideal. Don't stress too much, your chance of being broken into is still very, very slim.

Yea, you're prob right. Good tips. It's not like I'm going to dangerous cities either. Bay Area to Idaho to Yellowstone to Grand Tetons back to Bay Area

Neither is arming people who are too irresponsible and immature to own a gun. Not saying he is the devil, but the last person I'd hand a gun to is a person who talks that way in public and feels justified in doing so.

Food for thought, is that what a gun owner should be? Someone making comments on the internet about how bad he wants to kill someone? If I have to pick between his freedoms being taken to protect my own, that is a no brainer.

Not how a gun owner should be representing themselves.

I'm sure if more people open carried then less people would be attempting to steal.

And I don't think criminals should have special rights.

Bay area is probably riskiest place you'll park. But keep your cab empty at night, as much as you can, and sleep good. I slept in some janky hotels while moving across US with a uhaul trailer and my fiance's SUV full of stuff and had no problems. Backed the trailer up against a wall or the hotel so someone would have a hard time opening the trailer and taking stuff, and kept it under a light in a space visible from our room, hopefully closed enough I could hear noise if something did happen. Had no problems.

    Sounds like a good trip.

Anybody know if there's a way to disable automatic door locks? Hell I'll go back to using a key. This is also why I'll never buy a car with a push button start like the Camrys now have (you don't need a key .. the key fob just needs to be in range to start). They'll hack that soon enough.

Never been bothered. Avoiding needless confrontation helps. Keeps me out of legal trouble. But hey, rock on.

Actually dawg, if any lagislations that needs to be enacted it should be the ones that help hard working people keep and protect their properties. Not the other way around dawg!

You could, but it wouldn't really be a pertinent argument since Alabama has a higher education index than California.
