Hello all, I am in a jam as its Christmas and such. ..... I ordered the cruise control mod from rostra for my 09 tacoma manual, It is pre wired and when the stalk is installed the light comes on. I was removing the glovebox as per the tech guy at Rostra to plug in the clutch switch and only unplugged a few of the connectors by the ECU to find the one i needed to complete the mod. As its -20 C here i was too cold to finish anything so i plugged everything back in and put the battery back on and now my truck wont start. It turns over just fine. The only thing that i have noticed is the immobilizer light in the middle of the dash does not flash when the key is out. I would love some help as i dont really want to get my truck towed. Thanks!

Tried D/c the battery a few times, and I have rechecked the plugs x2.

it could have lost the immobilizer codes for the keys,if so it will need to be reprogrammed at the dealer.

but would it still turn over if it lost the codes in the ECU. I used to work for a dealership and we went and got som key's cut for a honda one time and they didn't program it right so when you tried to start the car with that key the starter wouldn't even turn over.

Checked all of the fuses under the hood and the ones that correspond with the EFI under the dash.
The only though i had was the vehicle immobilizer kicked in and now wont allow me to start it - came up with that b/c of the light not flashing anymore in the dash when you take the key out

if it has lost it's programing ,the starter will still turn the motor over, but it will shut the fuel pump off.

Thanks for the help, had to get it towed .... im hoping that its just the lost programming. Has anyone connected the clutch switch from rostra where you have to splice into pin 21 on the second connector up on the ECU ? Is there an easier way to connect the switch?
