I've decided not to go with a shell and just going to get a tonneau. Now I'm having trouble decideing the two. Truxedo for price and versatilty and Undercover for hard cover and securtiy. I can never make up my mind on things.

    Haul tall stuff? Truxedo.

Wouldn't leave an empty soda can on the seat of a locked convertible in your neighborhood because someone would slash the top to get the nickel redemption value? Undercover.

I like my Truxedo, keeps out prying eyes when my camper shell is off.

I've got an Undercover, and I love it.

It comes off quickly, and locks securely. The only drawback is versatility. Mine was pretty inexpensive.

I just ordered the truxedo lo pro qt at my local baxter autoparts. It was 479 plus tax and will arrive here to me tomorrow after 8am. I hope I'm happy with it, that was my hard earn cash from all the ot I worked. Somewhat exited for the install tomorrow. Thanks for the pros and cons guys and gals. Love this site

    I have the Undercover.

    Pros:

    • Zero leaks
    • Durable
    • Strong
    • Secure
    • Has a LED lamp for dark nights
    • Comes off in a minute
    Cons:

    • The locks will freeze if they get wet
    • Can't carry tall stuff w/o removing
