The latch on the inside of my center console has broken off and I cannot seem to find a listing for this part anywhere... does anyone happen to know a part number or will I have to search one out on a wrecked Toyota?....if anyone actually wrecks Toyotas.20160721_105131.jpg

I don't think this is the correct latch for the 2006 PreRunner console... you can see the contour on the latch... but I appreciate your help...at least you gave me a good starting point.

Thanks for the help...the way a couple of you guys described on how you fixed your broken latch assembly was quite clever and it worked like a charm. I just drilled .078" and tapped with a 4-40 tap....put in my set screws...I did have to file the opening on the slots because the set screws were binding a bit...but now the latch is repaired and I thank you guys for your helpful input and know-how...here is the pic after installing the set screws...and you can see that the top of the latch got a little boogered up from the file...but it works...so BOOYAH!
