I am trying to replace the alternator in my 95 2.7L. I am having a heck of a time getting the old one out. The plastic electric connection in the back just does not want to come out. I don't know if it is due to corrosion or what, but I just can not get the thing out. I want to be able to reuse it so I don't have to cut the wires and splice the wires from the new one. Has anyone run into this problem maybe have any tips? I have tried pulling it out with pliers and this thing just won't budge. It is pretty much the only thing holding me back from getting the thing out.

Any help would be appreciated - mail to d.geisler@yahoo.com

    Thanks.
