When driving my 2009 regular cab 2wd, I get a vibration between 35 and 20 mph. If I put it in neutral, it stops. It doesnt do it all the time. Has anyone had this same problem. Also my leaf springs rattle. What should I do next?

Glad I found Tacoma World, and the thread in particular. I am considering an '09 Tacoma Accesscab, 4cyl, 5spd, 4WD, SR5. It has less than 18K miles.

I asked the salesman if any of the TSB's had been done on the truck, and he replied to my email, saying none "needed to be done on the truck."

With a 30K/36month window, I still have time to sort out any issues. I am a bit leery of buying the truck, then having to take it in for service for know issues. Sure, the dealer could offer to do any fixes and provide me with a loaner, but the dealer is over an hour away from me.

For any warranty work, I would take it to a dealer that is 30 minutes from my place. I'd hate to buy the Taco, find the gremlins noted in the TSB's, and not be able to give the responsible salesman (I know, this is sometimes an oxymoron) grief.

Beware of those words. That can also mean,

"none needed to be done (and they haven't)"
"none needed to be done (because I don't know about them)"
"I'm just saying none needed to be done because I want to get you here and trap you with my sales pitch and it's harder for you to say no"

The document sharing site will not load. I've tried 3 different computers in 2 different locations. No joy on reading any of these TSBs and it's unfortunate as the stealership is trying to jack me around.

Op you should add TSB 0119-10 to ur list. It states:

Some 2005 - 2010 model yr 4wd tacoma and 2wd prerunner vehicles may exhibit steering rattle noise when driven over road surfaces. A newly designed steering intermediate shaft has been made available for service to adress this condition.

    Had mine replaced...HUGE difference

The OP hasn't been active for 2 years. I'm going to see what a mod can do.
