Tried looking but have come up with a partial info. Looking to see if there is an extension warranty/TSB on the leaf springs of a 2009 trd sport. I've seen the original 36k TSB on it but not the extended warranty like they have for the melting turn signal.
    Thanks in advance

wait for the fix for the recall to see what they'll do about it.

I am going to talk to my dealer tomorrow about the clutch pedal squeak TSB - I have a 2015 2.7.

I am curious if my truck was manufactured with the new parts that the TSB refers to as "changes have been made to the clutch pedal and clutch master cylinder assembly to address this condition".

I guess I have the old "not changed" clutch pedal/cylinder since mine is pretty bad at only 9K miles. If I figure out that I have the old parts, I wonder what my chances are of getting this done since the TSB only applies through 2014.

Thanks for any advice on how these TSBs work.

I have a question that others might have a well.

I have an '09 OR that falls in the VIN range and my DRL lenses are melted and cracked. I will be going in to the dealership on Monday to speak with them about replacing my headlights. My question is, which part numbers are the correct headlamp assy with the smoked housing. On the TSB it has 4 part number/ descriptions. There are two for the RH side and two for the LH side. On two of them under the description it has Sport. Would these be the assy with the smoked housing. I just want to have done my home work when I go talk to them on Monday.

Just wanna give a big shout of thanks to everyone who contributes to this thread. Just got back from the dealer and had the headlights replaced, the low speed shifting issues corrected, and the rear end spindle serviced, all for free. Mentioned all the TSBs I read about here and dealer took care of them. Fell in love with my truck all over again tonight! BTW, my service tech said there's a driveshaft recall coming for the lube issues.

Also, FedExCFI mentioned it back in Sept., so I figured I'd pass along what I knew. The smoked bezel headlamps they put on my black color matched 2010 TRD sport were 8110-04210 for the RH headlamp assay. and 81150-04210 for the LH headlamp assy.

Got a message from the dealer today.
Something about a recall/tsb on the Catalytic Converter/Exhaust?
    2013 AC 4x4 2tr-fe 5sp.

Will follow up with them when I get around to it, and figure out the details.
Looked under there a while back and it's all rusted to sh*t.

Don't know what to do, guess I'll have to throw the factory header back on there if I want the exhaust
    replaced.

I just returned from the dealer on the catalytic converter recall. The service writer who made the appointment said the parts were in stock and that it should take about an hour and a half. When I got there, a different service writer said that Toyota had the parts on a "Manual order" and that at this visit, which took about 15 minutes, they'd "confirm the application" and then order the parts. He said at the actual repair visit I'd have to leave the vehicle because it took 1.5 to 2 hours to allow the 2000 degeree catalytic converter to cool down to where the tech could work on it. I gathered that this was the first one the dealership had seen, although it is a large dealership in a metropolitan area.

My guess is, the dealership didn't want to stock a bunch of bulky parts and that's why I need to make a second trip. I'm also guessing that they don't want me waiting because they don't know how many times they're going to screw it up before they get it fixed and don't want the pressure of a customer sitting in the waiting room.

Has anyone else been in for this recall yet?

It's emissions related, so I doubt that there's any end date.

There are little inserts at the end of the leafs that have to be replaced and most toyota service area's know about them. That is what is making the squeek. Mine started on a 2015 DCLB after I went through some mud puddles that allowed grit to get into them. Pressure washing will help but not solve it. The other solution is to obtain an aftermarket set of leaf springs (maybe as an upgrade) and install them. But under warranty they should cover the install and parts for the leaf spring end spacers.

New one to add!! @JimBeam can we add this to the OP? :)

TSB 0026-15 (Front Differential Groaning/Grinding Cyclical Noise) dated May 20th, 2015
    2004-2009 4 Runner 4WD
    2010-2015 4 Runner 4WD
    2007-2009 FJ Cruiser 4WD
    2010-2014 FJ Cruiser 4WD
    2005-2009 Tacoma 4WD
    2010-2015 Tacoma 4WD

This is for the Front Diff Needle Bearing issue. Symptoms include driver side floorboard vibration at 30-45mph while driving in 2WD. Switching to 4WD immediately stops vibration and or grinding noise. Vibration is commonly detected as being cyclical (pulsating) in nature as opposed to constant.

    Warranty Info: "OP CODE TC1501"

    IMG_20151202_211011188.jpg

I've been dealing with this pulsing vibration for months now on my 2015 Tacoma DCLB 4x4. Finally took it to the dealer yesterday. They confirmed it's the needle bearing in the front diff (9,606 miles on my Taco) and gave me the TSB attached in the photo above. They have parts on order.

Hello everyone, let me first say that I am so #$%$### pissed off at Toyota its not funny. I am an owner of a 08 dbclb trd sport since new, my 1st taco and with 206K and counting it has been pretty good to me. It was scary in the beginning going from f350 diesels to this but it all worked out and have really liked the truck. Ok now to why I am pissed, 4/30/2013 went in for a sticker ( dealer ) I take very good care of my vehicles and always dealer serviced, anyway they come back and say rear leaf spring has broken and failed my safety inspection. I'm like WTF trucks not that old, I don't tow heavy shit if ever and what. There like well you need to replace, so 1,000 dollars later I get my sticker and a big thanks. I was told Toyota will reinbuse so I felt better. Now 2 1/2 years later and still waiting. It wasn't until a few months ago they said there ready to look at my claim. Said they wanted proof of this and proof of that and itemized this and itemized that. Had the dealer go back in there archives with there letter head nope not good enough. I am not given up or in.

Not sure why this was posted here or even at all? Your pissed off because you had a failed suspension part which cause to to fail a safety inspection, so the dealer fixes it. Now you find out that they will reimburse you for the repairs and you're mad? What is the issue, this whole post makes little sense?

I believe he is pissed because obviously it's a recall and they said they would reimburse him and it's been 2 years and now they are saying all the itemized and dealer paperwork isn't good enough to justify the reimbursement. I would be pissed too.

Thanks JWROSE4, yes seems pretty clear doesn't it but not to sub par. 2 years 8 months and counting. Its a joke what there doing. I have been a very loyal Toyota owner, spent thousands in service doing the right thing and this is what I get. Its just another huge disappointment from Toyota like the new 3.5 crap engine. Ugh now I am forced to buy a new Ford, god help us all.

This is still the TSB thread. Are they willing to pay you because of the rear leaf TSB or because of some other reason. You just started ranting and didn't really explain much. Like we're you under warranty when you brought the truck in for the inspection?

Honestly I understand the being pissed off part due to non payment but...... Why did you pay. If it was even close to being a warranty then you tell the dealer to deal with Toyota themselves for their money. Honestly tired of people getting raped by dealers and blaming the manufacture.
I had 3 visits including the spring bushing tsb . Every time I was told to pay and I told them no. Strange how standing your ground on warranty work is a rare thing. Be glad Toyota is even considering giving you money.

Now... Ford... Over an upgraded motor. Ha. Enjoy your eco boost rebuild at 100k or engine rebuild after it drops a valve. Oh wait... plastic shims for 4x4 engagement.
    There is a list. Enjoy

Doesn't look like this has been added to the OP yet. :(

@JimBeam @sean266 ? There's been a bit of talk about this issue in other threads and I think it might help folks who actually use the search feature and Sticky list. :)
