I just bought an 07 trd off road. After reading through all of the posts will I be able to convince the dealer to replace the springs.. It is a certified trd?.. I checked and mine only has the three leafs. I figure if I start now I might get it done before the 3month 3000 mile warranty is up. I plan on calling first thing Monday and tell them I hooked up my trailer and it bottomed out.. any other suggestions..Thanks

What is your current mileage and when was the vehicle originally purchased?

My gut feeling tells me that you will probably be denied if your vehicle is past the 3 yr/36k warranty unless you have a really good dealer.

It has 38k miles and it is an 07 I will have to check to see what the original sale date was.. I was hoping since it was "cerified" I might be able to use that warranty.. Thanks

I just checked it was first sold on 7-11-2007 so the date is okay just the milage off by a little..

There's a TSB's out for the rear leaf springs and to replace front and rear shocks. I'm not sure if they'll do anything with the front springs. Atleast there's no TSB for it on the toyota TIS site.

Well, after some research you may have a shot if you get it done or in the process of getting it done within the first three months/3k miles since it is certified.

Most people have reported that they were denied the rear leaf TSB when they were on an extended warranty or certified preowned (if outside of 36k). Good luck to you.
