So of course the service representative that helped me with my tsb update clocked out and went home when I came and picked up my truck. All I was left with was a sticker on the hood.. I'm always on my toes when it comes to dealers.

I only have 2 codes on my sticker shouldn't I have 3 for the 3 issues that were on the tsb? Or am I worrying for no reason. They wouldnt only do the cruise control and hard 1st and 2nd shift without doing the p to r update correct? Does anyone have pictures of their stickers?

    Here is mine

    Let me know fellow TW

    Nope.

But you'll need to make room for the stickers to follow.

I don't have any. My shopping list will be filled at the 3k mile service. I'm getting a Sequoia loaner!

I got my TSB update at the very unfriendly Irvine AutoNation, didn't get the sticker or any markings under the hood.
But the paper work indicates "2 Calibrations were performed, unable to replicate concerns before or after calibrations"
WTF... they sent me home quite perplexed, if this thing takes a $hit I hope it still is under warranty.

Who was your service writer? I took mine there last week and Manny wrote me up. I handed him the TSB and he gave me a "what is this sh*t" look and said he would "look into it and see what he could do, but it might take up to four hours" (even though I had an appointment). About an hour later he said they couldn't replicate the issues but since it was just a flash they did it anyway. He then asked me to let them know it I noticed a difference since he was aware of the shifting issues with the Tacoma. Huh? If he was aware of the issues then why not just do the TSB without making me feel like I was wasting his time?

I normally work with Terry, who has always been very helpful, but she was off that day and I didn't want to wait.

Very interesting, I dealt with the same guy 'Manny'
This guy shouldn't be in the service industry.
He told me this will take 2 hours, he knew of the TSB; he delivered my truck exactly 2 hours later.

I see what you're getting at...

89611-04K52 is the new 'part' number.
8966304B0200 is the Main ECM calibration ID, of which there are two; 896630401200 is the Sub ECM calibration ID.

It should have the part number on Line 1 and the two calibration IDs on line 2.

Mine's all screwed up, now that I look at it.20160719_152130_zpsnkavciaw_da1a346ee190eaa5ae487f47cd6155f46c2dcc37.jpg

Looks like they actually followed the directions in the tsb when they filled yours out. They just freestyled mine. Points for originality though.

The following information should be on the authorized modification label:

    Replacement ECM Part Number: 89661-04K52
New Calibration ID(s): 8966304B0200 (Main), 896650401200 (Sub, Trans)
TSB Number: T-SB-0077-16 (USA) or T-TCI-4419 (Canada)
Dealer Code and Date Completed as well

There isn't really any way they could only do a part of the service bulletin I don't believe, unless they somehow updated only the main or sub calibrations without doing the other. It would seem unlikely.

What is much more likely (and even more likely now that I've seen what others have posted) is that they just didn't fill everything out on the label.

That's what I was thinking it's highly unlikely they skipped out on certain portions of the update..

It was one update for all 3 issues correct?

Yes, it was a single update for all 3 issues, they were not split up.

There should be a sticky thread with the tsb updates on each gen. I know we only have 2 right now but I'm certain more will come out
