TSBs and Toyota Comprehensive Warranty

I've noticed that a number of the TSBs contain the Applicable Warranty statement below.

APPLICABLE WARRANTY
• This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s in-service date.
• Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.

If I have an extended factory warranty, does this cover the TSBs after the 3 yr/36K miles...or should I look to get any and all TSB work done before then?

 

The extended warranty does not cover the TSB's.

You might have luck reasoning with your service manager, but most have reported no success.
