If your tires don’t poke, your truck is a joke.

Yah my '20 4runner has that garbage. It's mostly useless and confusing anyway. Some douche bag tried to crash me and caught it on my dash cam.

All the TSS did was beep at me after I had already gotten hard on the brakes. I reminded me of the scene in "Sully" where the plane is yelling at everyone "Brace! Brace! Brace". Like duh, there is a BMW in the way.

Skip the TSS SW stuff and let someone else be the test pilot. If you happen to crash they will have all the data the need. The newer cars have vehicle data recorders.

The TSS save my ass earlier today. Some idiot decided to slam on his brakes right in front of me, before I could react the TSS send an alert and I hit the brakes at the same time as the automatic braking did. I was able to stop and avoid the moron has he made his turn without a directional.

I had this happen to me this morning. Wet cakey snow on the badge f*cking with the radar. Did it last night when it was snowing too. Minor annoyance, I don't mind driving myself to work, but I was wondering if you think its something that can be fixed on your own? Like, can I just clear any water that got in the sensor, pad and seal it myself and kill this issue? I'd rather do it myself than take it to the dealership. Even though I'm bone stock and have no mods (yet ;)) for them to dick me around about, why drive it to the dealer when you can do it in your own garage, y'know?

The K0B Special Service Campaign isn't going to fix caked on snow. Did the issue go away after you cleared the snow off? If it did, I'd just let it be.

Guess I'll see when I drive home today. It typically does not do it on clear days, except one time where it went off then went back on a minute or two later, so maybe it is just a caked on snow thing.

If that's the case I may tinker around and see if I can make a defroster for it.

Yea, anything caked on the badge could be an issue, like snow, mud, big bugs, etc. K0B just somewhat seals the sensor from getting water in it.

I noticed the little foam cover thing that Toyota put on top of the sensor to keep crap out and it looked pretty inadequate IMO. So I took some of that waterproof Gorilla tape (similar to the Flexseal tape stuff) and put it on top of that flimsy foam thing to really seal it up. Cannot say if it makes any difference, but no TSS issues here due to weather stuff.
