I just finished lookin at and reading your entire build thread, like others have already said....yours is one of the best builds on TW. Why not add some pink to the interior,....you can do the maglite mod on drivers side seat w/ a pink maglite! Great job!!

Did you have to move the Brake solenoid/return lines/feed line box on the passenger side when you mounted the air compressor? I think I heard that the off roads had theirs in a differnt place. If it is, where is it on the off roads?

Nice build. I need to look into something bigger for my coilovers to lvl my truck out. Got the all pro expos but didn't count on such a lean back to front.

Nice truck! I love that rear bumper.

I found the thread cause I am installing a Viair dual 480c compressor kit and 2.5 gal. tank. I am trying to figure out where I want to put the compressors and tank.

Took part in the Wet Okole group buy. These sure are nice! They really changed the way the interior looks. We went with charcoal half piping and pink trd of course!

that is one pretty truck, way to go! I'm working on my 1st gen with little hints of pink in certain areas as well! what kind of paint/color did you use for the d-rings and skid plates? I can't find a good spray paint in the pink that I want...it's either florescent or extremely light pink.

Thanks! We took a piece of pink vinyl of the color she wanted to the local automotive paint store and had them color match it. They can put it in spray paint cans for you if you want. We just rolled it on since the skids are under the truck and a smooth finish ain't really needed. Touch up is easy too.

It has a 1" rake. Front is 38.75" rear is 39.75". No rubbing on the UCA but lots of rubbing on the front, rear and top of the fender well.

My wife has been wanting a magnetic gray metallic Tacoma just like this one for years before she even knew me, and I don't think I'll show her this one or she will get more ideas!

I like the looks of the high clearance rear bumper. I think Id like to go that direction but cutting all that off has to be pretty scary. Overall very nice build.

It's been a while since I've updated this thread! Trucks been great, only issue we have had was the stock battery finally gave up. So wierd that there wasn't any warning, truck just didn't start. I cleaned the terminals and put the charger on it and it didn't take the charge. Went to Sears and picked up a Die Hard. I put it in the truck and realized it was shorter and narrower than the stock one and the battery tie-down wouldn't work. So I went to my scrap metal pile and chopped up some angle and square tube I had and fabricated one! Just had to go to Autozone to get some J-hook tie down bolts since the rear side of the OEM tie-down was part of the tie-down.

Time for a front end fresh up. The OEM headlights were in pretty bad shape along with the front grille. My wife wanted HID's so she ordered up a pair from American Retrofits. I took the front bumper off to respray it too. I didn't feel like repainting the old chrome grille so I ordered up an '11 sport grille. Since her truck is a '10 her grillcraft mesh insert will not work so we will leave it OEM for a while, plus it's a nice change. I also finally wired up the winch!
    Tired headlights.
