Just went through all six pages, way to go! It's obvious from your photos that you did a clean job on everything you installed. Sweet

We are thinkin about heading up hermit pass or hayden pass next Sun or the following. Both are real mild. Hermit is scenic and hayden has a few larger rocks. I may take the Subi to the strip on the 11th since It's the last race of the year and I want to make a few passes. Let me know what works for ya.

Thanks man! It's been fun. Learned a lot from it!

Muds fun till ya gotta clean it! The dent popped out after a couple days, now its just scratched up. Same character different look. :D
Here is the making of the dent.

Are you still liking the VIAIR OBA kit? I am looking at the same one, and since you've had it for awhile, your opinion is warranted.

    Sick truck, too. Lucky wife.

The tank is pretty pointless. After one tire It's already down to about 75 psi and by the second it's really low. Only thing it would be good for is short bursts with air tools or reseting a bead. If the compressor was faster it may be a different story. That being said it fills the tires in under 10 minutes usually ( 18 to 32) so it does work pretty good. It would be cheaper and easier to just use the compressor, but if you have the coin and the time go for it.

I am looking into it mostly for airing up tires at the end of the trail. Basic tools if necessary on the trail. Would you say that it is worth the effort or would you stick to a CO2 tank instead? Price is the same, and I used to have a CO2 tank on my last rig that worked well, but I was looking to do something that had greater usability and couldn't run out of pressure. (at least that you could run to get more pressure).

I've never used a co2 tank before but I'm guessing it would be faster to refill the using it. Draw backs for us were: pay to refill, remembering to refill, place to store/mount it and I wouldn't want to keep it in the truck if we weren't wheelin and It's nice to have air readily available.

Not showing this thread to my girlfriend. She would steal my truck and make me do this to it. Looks great, very well done.

Thanks man! I wonder if it would make her drive as crazy as my wife does. She's always speeding up for potholes and dips, driving off curbs leaving parking lots, and driving off the side of the road cuz it looks fun. Off road she drives it pretty crazy too. Keeps up with and passes atv's and sideXsides. Not saying I wouldn't do it neither, it's just cool that she does. The truck handles it so smoothly it still amazes me.

Thanks, when ever they get here! I though we would have already had em'. It did rub at first but I've cut and raised the front so it doesn't rub much now. Still need to hack body mount but I will do that when I weld on the sliders.

Nice taco build, im jealous!!! Wish i had the money to buy a newer taco and build it up. I wouldnt do everything you did just because i dont wheel like you do. But its nice, i really like the pink skid plates! I would do my stock skid plate in the front if it wasn't all oily from the previous owner letting the valve cover gasket leak so long! I'm currently trying to figure out what more things i can put on that are pink. I have pink shocks and pink coil springs... lol

Not bad.. I have a trd sport though so I have the stupid brake controller box there. My compressor mount will have to have legs to get it above it. I've got a plan though. :D

Pink is a strong color and it can get carried quick. Gotta keep it bold but subtle. Clean up that skid and paint it!

It is very functional. I revised it multiple times in my head before I built it, and I'm pretty happy the way it turned out.

    Tried to help!

Lol thanks! It's nice to share hobbies with your spouse, makes em more understanding when you need to order parts, :D
