Thanks! That hidden hitch turn out how you expected? It was the 1st i've done like that, I think it turned out good though... Better than I expected to be honest.

 

They had skids underneath.

Yep, just skids. Have a B.A.M.F rear diff skid and CMC plates coming this week too.

Yea I like it. Looks like the bumper was built around the hitch. I was thinkin how I wanted to mount the plate. Either make a mount that slides into the reciver or find a flip up spring type at a junk yard. The hitch will probably get used a couple times a month once I get a RTT on that trailer in the pic.

 

Not quite sure yet. Planning on flat black for the most part. Definitely pink shackles and fog light tubes. Thinkin about the square tubing on the sliders but it may be to much. I was going to paint the insides "R" Eric use to put in his bumpers but these don't have any. Might just get vinyl stickers cut or maybe paint em on in pink.

 

There is a how to on a flip up tag somewhere around here that I'm trying to find they built it over the hitch receiver.

Went down to Texas to see some family last week. Gas mileage sucked got around 15.8! The subi would have done better but the Tacoma is a lot more comfortable on long trips. Will be getting the bumpers painted by a shop I think. I don't really want to rattle can all that steel! Dunno yet though gonna get some prices next week.

Fina getting some work done, got the rear primered and I'll be working on the front on Monday. Maybe Sunday but I'm probably going to the range instead! Ordered a Superwinch talon 9.5 sr along with some D-rings they should be here on Monday. Also ordered some Expo springs and some Timbrens for the front from Allpro but there is a 2 week wait on the springs. We are switching from the Alcans to the expos because the Alcan leaf pack just didn't give the amount of lift we wanted. I was going to wait for someone to make a shackle reversal kit again but who knows when that will happen. Also going to order Total Chaos LCA skids today too. So I have a lot of painting and installing to do. I still need to weld on the sliders and do the cab mount chop too but I'm going to weld a few more projects up first to get more proficient with my skills before I tackle that project.

 

Winch came in today! Also got the rear bumper all painted up and mocked the sliders.
