I'm not sure what you mean when you say "taller". Is a 16" wheel i'm not sure if the inside diameter is the same as stock wheel, but i'm guessing it's very similar. I was asking this question because i saw on a other thread the the upgrade does not work with some other aftermarket wheel and i was looking for a confirmation of somebody that maybe had done the same mod before.

Are you asking if tundra wheels will fit tundra brakes?

The 231mm tundra brakes will not fit quite a few aftermarket 16" wheels, toyo wheels are a tight fit but do not require grinding of the caliper.

2nd gen tundra was 5lug so will not fit.

No i was asking if 1 gen Tundra brake upgrade fit 1 gen Tacoma with Ivan Steward rim. But i saw a couple 1 gen tundra pic with those same Ivan Steward rim. So i'm guessing they do fit with the tundra brake.
