the tires needed very little weight to balance, they are pretty quite (not as quite as the duratracs). and they run out pretty smooth, i will need to put some more miles on them to really know.
i love the duratracs but every set i have had (2 total sets) has had a hard time balancing out well. the set on my sequoia is doing pretty good so far.

i went with a little less positive off set on these wheels so my tires did not stick out so far and they rub a little more then my others did but these are bigger.

just from the pictures my guess is that it has been wheeled a bunch. here is my reasoning. first the front receiver, i would equate this to being put on for a winch that can be moved front and rear. then the stock wheels painted black that look like they have taken some damage (atleast in one of the pictures they look like they eat a few rocks). also the blackout seems to be more of a younger crowd thing so i would think it was previously owned by a younger (kid for lack of a better term, i'm old)
then add in the fact that they keep dropping the price would tell me that when people get there to look at it there is paint and/or body damage. (so how was the body?)
again these are all just guesses based on a 2 minute look at the link you gave.

I would crawl under it and take a very good look at thing to make sure it all looks good. most dealers will do a great job detailing the outside but they leave the undercarriage alone this can tell you a lot.

If it drives nice and they can get it in the price range you want go for it.

To those that own the Tundra I was wondering how the reliability of them is. The reason being is that I rolled my taco on Sunday and was thinking of steping up to a Tundra if they decide to write off the Taco. Primary reason for that is I have a TT that's a bit on the heavy side for the taco when going over the passes with it and I'd like the extra power for that as well as the fact I will soon have a second child and it would be nice to get the extra leg room. Also is there anything that you'd suggest if and when I go to look at one when it comes to features or model specific stuff. Last what's the mileage like for the different power plants they offer, is it like the taco and nothing like the the sticker in the window.

    Thanks for any help

The reliability is great on these tundras is great, I own both and 08 Tacoma and a tundra and I drive my tundra alot more than the Tacoma. For towing the tundra does awesome I tow a 7 k pound boat and you can't even feel it back there, I don't have any kids but the crewmax is the way to go if your looking or leg room. I would honestly build my truck If I could do it again but I bought the sr5 crewmax with the offroad package, the tundras are offered with the 4.0 v6, 4.7 v8 and the 5.7 v8 power plants I have the 5.7 and I get 18 on highway and 13 to 14 in the city but I'm also 4wd.

i loved my Tacoma but i love my tundra even more. the power is awesome in the tundras (i have the 5.7). i got rid of my Tacoma because my kids complained about the room in the back. now i do not have that problem (i have a double cab). the other thing is the tundra has more options then the Tacoma so you can get some extra stuff and the prices are not far apart. mine has been pretty close to the sticker, i am getting about the same a socal.

I have been very happy with my new Tundra, no complaints whatsoever since the trading of my 2006 Tacoma at the end of Sept.
Both were 4x4 and the gas mileage has been comparable as I been tracking in fuelly. I also put on larger tires from the stock all seasons.
