Quick intro. Just downsized from 03 Tundra access cab, 4x4, SR5, TRD, V-8, to a Base reg. cab, 4cyl., 5 pd. Had a 97 T100 before that. This is what I should have bought in the first place. Basic transportation with good gas mileage. I do miss the buckets and center console and the aluminum wheels. I hope to find info on here to change that. Would like to replace bench with buckets, if it will work, and swap out the steelies for alloys. I'll do some search. If anybody ever visits Spyderchat, you will find me there more often.

Welcome m&m! If you don't get a response to your bench for buckets swap question, you may want to post a separate thread with that question. I don't recall that topic coming up before but I could be wrong. Someone on here has probably tried it before...

Welcome to TW. I also down sized from a larger truck (F-150) but I'm real happy with the Taco and don't even miss the larger truck. Lots of good ideas for mods on this site.

I just bought the same truck. I didnt like the bench to begin with, but its no biggy now. The seats are pretty comfortable. I just dont like having a center console for my elbow, but I found one that fits pretty cheap at autobarn. It was under $20 shipped.
