Sounds like pinging to me. Get the pump in ASAP, as well as that AFR gauge.

A snorkel will also reduce boost. As it is like trying to breathe through a straw.

The PNP harness should run your haltech in parallel with your stock ecu. Injector and timing control will be run solely by the haltech. I wired in my Megasquirt using one of those harness. The MS ecu has an onboard map sensor so my oem maf and O2 sensors do almost nothing. The maf is just there for the air temp sensor. O2 is now measured using my wideband AFR gauge.

That seems pretty good. Maybe the one step cooler will help out along with the suggestions torspd had as well

I would guess the pre-charcoal canister solenoid... but that's just emissions crap.
I wouldn't sweat it for now

    Ah shucks... https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/p0446-error-code-question.35861/

Being that your code is "circuit" specific, I'm still leaning towards the pre-charcoal canister solenoid/valve. It should be in your engine bay on the firewall close to the canister. If you take off the vac line and remove the connector going to the solenoid, you should be able to hear a difference in amount of air entering it.
When you're filling up, does the pump ever stop prior to filling all the way up?

I honestly don't know how any of that evap stuff works. I wish I could just delete it all.

nope. where its capped off and the vsv is still plugged in and functioning it doesn't detect a leak.

im about 6000km away from my truck atm. not sure what youd want to see. it just looks like nothingness now.

Mostly just where exactly its capped off. I'm sure I can search around and find some write ups though. Good to here it's pretty simple

    this is a loaded question..

Because of tons of variables. I think the blower that comes with it is too big. If it was a twin scroll like the EFR Borg turbos..be a different story.

Also why does it have to be a cx turbo? If you want a different one..id get a better one.
