    because it should be fine for what i want out of it. And this will be my first experience with turbos so i didn't think id go all out with a pricey fancy turbo first go. Not an a particular budget or anything but i really dont know if its worth spending so much more on a relatively low power build. Im gona be away from my truck out of province for work till the winter and wanted to start a parts list/ordering for when i get back.

    well, get a smaller one.

    like so: https://www.cxracing.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=95_614&product_id=3418

    Would spool quite fast really.

    or this guy: https://www.cxracing.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=95_614&product_id=3415

    Both would respond and flow very different and deliever very different power. second one is larger of course so..all depends on what you want.

    Edit: They have actually changed the turbo with the kit now. Its smaller then the one posted above. Not a bad match really. The first one i posted would be much faster though.

    What mufflers are you guys running? I have a dyomax but I don't like the sound. Sounds too much like a ricer...Looking for something more quiet.

    I'm using a Gibson Superflow 788500. It's pretty much the quietest straight through muffler there is. I barely notice a difference in sound from stock inside the cab. I used 2.5" mandrels for the piping. It made my truck rev much smoother

    Clearly a different engine, mine versus yours. I have a vibrant ultra quiet resonator @3.5" before a 3.5" resonated Aeroturbine muffler. It literally sounds like an exotic engine/boxer engine. In part to the unequal length headers.

    @MadTaco461 can attest.

    An issue that I'm noticing now is through the range of RPM to 5000 there seems to be drops of power or hesitation hopefully not the fuel pump I'll be put the fuel gauge so that I can see through the windshield here pretty soon to check pressure if it drops but I can't think of what it could be:notsure:

    You have the larger fuel pump installed? If so, which size? Cannot remember.

    Do you have an AFR gauge? What is the AFR during that drop off?
