    A thing or two...
The factory AFR sensor is a current based signal, so you can't do what you're saying. The MAPECU sends a signal to the input of the AFR module based on the values in the AFR Adjust table. The output of the AFR module is tapped into the factory AFR sensor signal line. The signal line between the stock AFR sensor and factory ECU doesn't get cut. The AFR module is acting as a current sink/source to alter the signal that the factory ECU is reading. The MAPECU has no idea what the factory AFR sensor is reading, and it has no means of reading the sensor if you did cut the factory signal line and wire it in.

An aftermarket WB sensor will have a 0-5 volt output which is what you would want to wire into the MAPECU to display the AFR. However, as I said before, the MAPECU doesn't use the actual signal for anything. It just gives you the ability to view the reading in the software and record it when you do datalogs for tuning purposes.

I'll add the caveat that this all only applies to the 2nd gen trucks. 1st gen trucks run a narrowband O2 sensor which is a voltage based sensor.

That's perfect, thanks! I thought was still a voltage reading, can't do if measuring current.

Has anyone used the "auto learn" feature on their respective tuning devises? I just saw the last episode of mighty car mod, and they had it on their haltech for the honda mini, and when they dyno'd what it learned it was 101 kw and they only got it up to 103 kw dyno tuning it. I realize that was an NA build so its prolly a little different but i thought that was pretty cool

I used the auto tune function on my Megasquirt to help tune the vac cruising area of my fuel table. It worked pretty well. I’m a little skeptical of trying to use it in boost though.

I do. For idle control, and fuel trims. It made a noticeable difference once I applied the learned table , from the background.

I'm curious on what power levels it'll make. I inquired about their turbo's with upp turbo and they offer a great warranty but not much info on it on the inter-webs . They are very well informed though when i picked their brain with questions.

Your system and mine are different, but the possibility for it to work should still be there. Give it a try, and if you don't like it, revert back.

The MAP-ECU only does "auto learn" in MAF elimination mode. The way it works is that you set the fuel table to all zeros and drive around with the MAF sensor still installed, and the MAF input channel tapped into the MAF signal to the ECU. Then the MAP-ECU just records the MAF values into the correct cells in the fuel table. Only table cells that are 0 are overwritten. If the cell has a value, it isn't changed.

Ok dudes, so I’ve had an exhaust leak on the driver side and I’ve been wanting to relocate my front o2 sensor closer to the turbo.
The far away o2 was causing lean running and the crappy ring metal gaskets that come with the CX racing kit were causing the exhaust leak (developed lots of little cracks).
Also my 2 year old Walbro 255LPH fuel pump already started to go out (lately my truck would intermittently take 10-20 seconds to start), so I threw a bigger TT Supra 280LPH pump in there.
    Runnin WAY better now!
