That'd be awesome, especially if it works on 2013+. Hewitt said if I can verify the system doesn't run at shutdown, the V52H kit should work.

 

Sure is an expensive bypass searching through that.

I'm running ID725's currently pushing 12psi. The engine has never been broken open with 207,000 miles. Turbo went on around 190k it started as a KORacing kit and grew from there.

 

Well here goes nothing! Got off work a little early so I decided to say fuck it, and attempt the FIC-6 wiring. Wish me luck!

@MrCrowntown , I bet your timing map will be very close to this.

 

Anyone have any insight on this? The diagram doesn't match the description of which wires get the resistor. I'm not sure if the Haltech or MAP-ECU3 wiring would have similar connections, so it's worth a shot!

Cam Sensor Resistor: (Updated 8/18/15)
Toyota has a reputation of getting by with a very dirty signal with their sensor circuits, it could be to save cost or just because they can. Regardless to the reason because of this we need to add a low pass filter otherwise when we hook up the AEM the dirtiness (excuse my lack of knowledge on this I am not an EE lol) of the signals will be amplified and the truck will throw a code. Luckily this LPF can be simply taken care of by a 1/4W 2.2k resistor. You will need to bridge the CAM MAGO - and the CAM MAGI + with this resistor.

Well the truck starts and idles, albeit a little rough, but that probably has to do with me not having the onboard MAP sensor hooked up just yet (need longer vacuum line). I currently don't have a CEL for cam signal, nor do I have a resistor in the negative cam signal wires. Started on z.110 firmware, idled rough as hell, then switched to z.107 which cleaned up a bit, but still has what feels like a stutter or miss. I'll hook up the MAP sensor tomorrow and continue troubleshooting.
As a side note, whenever I first start up after disconnecting the battery, it idles extremely low and rough for a while. So it could also be the ECU re-learn process.

 

My truck does that as well. It did it before I installed the map-ECU3, so I chalk it up to the ECU relearn.

 

You have any leaks post turbo?
