    I like to keep mine connected to the manifold so you get full vacuum. Negative crank case pressure helps rings to seal and helps prevent blow by. You get minimal vacuum connected pre MAF, very minimal.

    Yes, on mine the rear vent is hooked up like stock with an additional check valve.

    The front is hooked to a catch can and then pre turbo.

    I have no issues with crank case pressure and I run 12psi.

    Your catch can should be in between your PCV and the manifold. You are missing a huge amount of oil vapor if it is setup as you are stating.

    Not necessarily. If there was a filter on the valve cover the flow would follow>>>> into valve cover>>>into catch can>>>into tubing between air filter and compressor inlet.

    As pre turbo is always suction.

    Everything gets metered.

    Could also do filter on valve cover>>>catch can>>>angled port on exhaust tubing post turbo( the angle creates a vacuum as gasses flow by.)

    I guess it would just flow backwards during boost, but anything off throttle, would be pulling it into the manifold as the vacuum then would overcome the vacuum created by the turbo inlet

    I'm going to check them next week most likely. I know that the issue is with the injector wires on the AEM harness, and not the factory wiring even with spade connectors on them. I had no issues with my cam/crank wires, as I used a 2.2K resistor across CAMI+/- and another across CRANK MAGI+/-. If I run the FIC with all the wires minus injectors, still no issue. It's just a matter of me re-terminating those wire ends

    The two ways I listed, it always flows in only one direction. Since it is sucking pre-turbo, or pulling post turbo. That is the key. Cannot be between the inlet and outlet of the turbo.

    Easiest is valve cover to catch can with filter on catch can. Intake manifold ports capped or used for vacuum/boost sources and not PCV.

    This is why I have it setup this way you have venting while both in and not in boost. While not in boost you get it straight from the manifold. When in boost vacuum pre turbo is high and you still have venting. You could also put a catch can between the rear vent and manifold but stock doesn't so I don't. The catch can on the front is just to keep the oil out of the turbo.

    Make sure they aren’t backwards. The labels of the wires on the fic are opposite for the injectors compared to everything else. It makes sense if you think about it but I can see how it would be easy to mess up when you’re high on lead vapors.

    Kind of shitty video but here's one I just recorded.



    The tires started to spin in second and I hit boost cut in 3rd gear but the Haltech trimmed it out real quick.

    I guess I could of held the gears longer also, but maybe I scared of blowing it up. Redline is set at 6100

    I guess I am just not that good of a racer:burnrubber:

    The most sure fire way to break a rod is to over rev the engine. Is your engine built?

    Here's one I did just before weening off e85 for the season. I'm at 5000 ft and on 32" mud terrains with 3" suspension lift so when it says 100 it's actually 103! Ignore the flashing seat belt light.. it's broken.
