Good, and no. Your trims are off because you tuned around a leak. A little more tuning, now that the system is closed, should straighten out your trims and give you even better AFR's.

 

You certian that you have cylinder 1 at TDC and not another cylinder?

 

So, take a 1/4in long extension and set it gently into the spark plug hole of cyl #1. Don't gouge the piston head, so take it easy. Then, rotate the crank slowly(best with an extra set of hands unless you're a pro) until the extension rises up as far as it can, and begins to fall back down again. This will be TDC, so check your reference marks to see if they line up.

The cam reference and the crank reference only line up perfect every 4 revolutions of the crank, and the timing marks on the chain will need even more rotations to align up to how they are when they are referenced for installation.

Then, you just need to verify if it is the correct TDC for whatever valve it is that you are doing.

Like what @MrCrowntown said. Keep spinning until cylinder # 1 is at tdc. I use a zip tie instead of a socket.

I like this method, I have used it before and it works.

 

Lmao I edited it because I though a screwdriver would be rough on the piston head. I need to proofread twice before posting lol

I figured it out. There are 2 marks on the crank pulley. I was using the wrong mark.

Totally depends on how you abuse your truck. Everything has its limits.
