    A thing or two...
Thanks to everyone for the comments on the turbo matches that I posted. I went back through and made new matches using the EFR 7670 maps. I matched the turbine to the 70mm 0.92 A/R. For whatever reason, the MatchBot doesn't show the 70mm 1.05 A/R turbine.

    Sea level, summer
    Sea level, winter

During the winter @ 10000 foot elevation, it's still running up against the choke line at redline. I live at sea level and would almost never be at that elevation, so I can live with it. I made the 10k elevation matches more for an exercise to see how things are affected and because I might end up at that elevation at some point travelling.

    Mountains, summer
    Mountains, winter

The maps show I'll still able to build boost down at 2k RPM. :D Depending on gear and throttle position, I can make 5-10 PSI at ~2k RPM in my WRX, so I'm not too worried about drivability. I also want to make boost as low as possible given the 5500 RPM redline of the 2TR-FE. It'd be a waste to only have boost over 3k RPM when I generally only see over that when I'm passing people.

    @Torspd Trucks not broken anymore!:yay:

Don't have my wideband back from AEM yet but my LT and ST fuel trims are pretty normal.
I rebuilt my CX turbo and it's even tighter than it was before which is good.
I also installed a non homemade boost controller, made my key halo thing red and replaced the factory clock with a boost gauge. I'll post pics tomorrow of stuff and things.

I noticed that the factory injectors may be de-capable for free extra flow. I may decap one of my extras and see what happens...

Well good news...you'll never be at 10k feet during the winter. Haha at least not for long normally even if you can as everything gets snowed in so...yeah.

I know a guy on the supra forums used to rebuild oem injectors with custom nozzle ends for cheap to make them whatever flow you wanted. Made mine 650cc

Did you have to re balance the turbo during the rebuild? Or just a straight swap of parts?

CX has been more than amazing to me personally with customer service. When my turbo was making noise they sent me a rebuild kit FREE. And it turned out to not even be the turbo........

I just straight up swapped the parts out. It seems that the compressor wheel was already balanced at some point, the turbine too. I think my turbo was used before I bought it but I'm not 100% sure. I think all turbos are balanced otherwise I think they'd explode... However I'm no expert. :transformer:

Did you check shaft play prior to install? Also what oil line size did you use?

Hmm Id check that restrictor. Is it all ball bearing, journal-ball hybrid or all journal?

I checked shaft play and it seem to me like it was too much but after looking at a YouTube video of a Percision turbo with a fresh rebuild with the same play I thought it was ok

Hm weird. Usually don't need restrictor for journaled bearing. What size is your drain?
