Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
    I dont think anyone here has had much success with the sts kit. Tor started on one all so if u go thru the first 10 pages or so of his build u can see how that works out. I would bet since you dont have fenders, there is more available room than you think. Also madtaco is a 1st gen 4 banger but he has a caged engine i think so he may can guide you some

    Yeah not interested in the sts kit, just remote mount options. The tires tuck up into the fenders so not much room there

    I'll get better pics tomorrow, another thought was to build a angled core support and put the turbo in front of the motor

    Definitely no STS route. Been there. An under mount setup would work though, versus a top mount.

    Have you considered the URD SC kit? It will be a little more suited for an offroad vehicle and it might have some glaring packaging advantages.

    Kinda stock
    Stuffing a turbo under the hood is a pain and near impossible on a prerunner. I saw a turbo in the bed of a trophy truck, but still sounds like a ton of air and oil lines. I’ll see if I can dig up the pic.

    A thing or two...
    Got any pictures of the passenger side and/or looking into the engine bay from the front and above? The passenger side seems to be the better side to mount the turbo because you don't have to deal with the battery, fuse box, steering column, brake booster/master, or heater core lines.

    I would cut through the hood before I mounted a turbo below the truck for off road... seems like theres to much exposure

    How about by the rear of the engine, near the transmission?

    Your cage doesn't look to allow room for even a TRD roots charger.

    I didnt wanna be the one that said it but if u gonna have to run an oil pump might as well put two turbos on it. And with twins you could run smaller turbos so clearence would be even less an issue

    alright gents i know we went over this but i cant remember how long ago. got my car started for the first time today since the motor swap but im throwing an oil light. i want a standalone gauge to verify before i do anything else. i opened the oil cap and didnt feel any oil in the topside so i believe it to be legitimate. :frusty:

    prosport the recommended?
