i mean I have seen that e85 and cold doesn't like starting but I guess I'm just throwing way too much fuel in, plus the engine is auto choking I'm sure since its a cold crank, so its just a little too much for it to handle

E85 is really hard to start in cold weather. No matter what you try.

Here’s what mine looks like at idle. I don’t know how accurate this app is. I have to figure out how to do a snapshot at WOT.85AB31AE-5937-4D7C-82EB-329D232B0553.jpg

You trim out those 440s just fine at idle. I’m surprised what you can get away with on the stock ecu

Nice. Do you have some sort of device plugged into your OBD port that it links to?

I’ll take a picture of it when I get out of work. I’ve had this for a while and it works good. I use iPhone that’s why I chose it.

Those trims look good! Maybe the whole 440cc myth/misconception was that they are the limit of what the stock ECU can handle.

now that this has come to light, is there a chance that something similar could be achieved on the 1gr? obviously not asking for me since I have 635cc or what ever and the mapecu3, but for anyone else that is considering turboing a 4.0, not having to deal with a piggyback ecu could be a huge decision swing from a magnuson SC, both in cost and tuning hassle

It’s hard to say. Just because idle looks good, it’s good to see the rest of the closed loop map.

Thanks. I have a Ultragauge BLue that I use sometimes, but getting it to connect is a PIA. It also does not show timing so I may get this one instead.

It's only $20 and it acts as a wifi hotspot not highspeed though.

I don't even know what it's suppose to look like yet. My tuning is going to be a balance of E85 and boost.

In general you want your trims to be less than or equal to +/- 10 in LT or ST throughout the rpm range; I'm not exactly sure what the ECU considers too high or low of a trim though. However keeping in the 10 range you shouldn't have any codes.

Well my fuel go way lean at fuel cut decel and stay that way until i give it gas again (pic was taken at red light in gear foot on brake)20171212_161104.jpg but it goes pretty ok as soon as i give it any throttle like 20% load or more is great20171212_161409.jpg
And boost trims are perfect (it started building boost and afrs didnt drop so i let off and then they dropped so i got back on it for science) part throttle boost
