Here are some more snapshots. I don’t know how accurate these are. I think the app has to catch up with the truck and I’m snapping the pic early. I’ll try latter to get it so I can look at it while driving and tell details. This is interesting not sure how accurate this is. (Note engine rpm) i just snapped a pic randomly like all the others.

 

According to my gauges I’m running 8-9psi of boost and the AFR’s are 10.9-11.6 with 5 gal. of e85 mixed with 93 (full tank)

 

I’ve also noticed that going from first to second gear it used to chirp the tires now it just hits really hard with no chirp. Maybe a different power band it auto shifts at 4800 from 1st to 2nd

 

Do you have a boost gauge? If not, how does the app know how to measure the boost?

 

OVTune is a potentiality. Since it works through modifying the OEM ECU map.

i was wondering this. what sensor is measing vac/boost on a 5vz. torque pro reads it and it seems to be accurate but as far as ive looked theres no sensor anywhere?

 

Without a MAP sensor, I couldn't tell you. I have seen programs try to extrapolate an amount. They were usually off.

 

does he not have a gauge? and or is he goin by spring rate and or boost controller?

 

This is the proof-of-concept passenger header. The rough protype PowerFab header. Prior to the much nicer short run production kits.

Modifying it to be able to fit the BW, but primarily for some solid practice, prior to the header I'll build in the near future.

 

I like it! and it could prove to be even more cost effective for future DIY'ers in the future.

just a frabricative inquiry, but would it be advantageous to have a T on the end like this for your cross-over to go into and then let that be your Y and save yourself some head room and foot room I guess

Already have one, and no, to a "T" great reduction in laminar flow. Especially when the header itself is already a "T" flowing log.
