Been busy developing cruise control for my Moto Guzzi V7, hopefully I’ll be finished by New Years.

I got a reman Holset. I had plans to put it immediately after the exhaust manifold and before the cat. The manifold would dump straight into it, basically. This way I could still get a LCE manifold :)

But with all this talk of people developing a manifold I'm in no hurry lol

Yeah that’s definitely not gona fit with the hood latch bar. It might not fit even with just the AC lines either. I swear the 95 and 96 are the worst years for intercoolers lol. Do you have a newer ECU or are you going to take a chance with your 96 ECU?

i dont have ac. theres plenty of space besides the hood latch at the moment. i have a plate bumper so this is the only option anyways.

i have a 97 ecu on the truck.

im literally only waiting on a single 90 degree an10 fitting. its been a month now.

ive read through pretty much every turbo 5vz thread and prepared myself for anything id need so i can get the turbo on with a 2 week period. (its my only ride to the airport every 2 weeks for work atm)

just make sure nothing is touching it when installed. Vibrations WILL make a hole and give u a boost leak eventually.

Oh ok cool. You can use a 45 deg elbow too if you can get one sooner than the 90 that you’re waiting on. In fact I think I used a 45 because the 90 deg fitting was too close to where the oil pan bolts to the engine.

I’m having an issue with afr’s before the engine warms up going lean off idle and almost stalling but when it’s warmed up good it runs fine. Maybe something with the IAC or TPS or another leak

I notice sometimes when I first start back up after having driven for a while I’ll idle lean. Like 17’s. I just start driving around and it corrects immediately
