what I mean is if you are getting into open loop while trying to pass on the freeway your ECU goes to a preprogramed map because you have bigger injectors it could be flooding this could be why you are getting so low in the AFR's.

While is closed loop your ECU is trimming your bigger injectors, but once open loop comes it dumps fuel in, causing you to go rich and bog out.

Could also be that you don't have a MAF clamp and you are hitting a voltage limit on you MAF. Just throwing out ideas.

When to much air passes over the MAF and voltage rises above a certain point the ECU does not like it, happens when you turbo with a MAF, this can be taken care of by a URD MAF clamp or AEM FIC.

I am not sure what timing goes to but I know when you get to open loop your AFR's will suddenly drop, with your bigger injectors this sounds like the issue. what size injectors are you running? can your scan tool show you open and closed loop?

I’m running 440cc and not able to see open/ closed loop. I could be to the point were I need a way to tune I’m just seeing how far I can go before that.

You are as far as you can go if you want it to run better you need something to tune it.

I decided to take out the manual boost controller and just put the correct spring in the wastegate so according to the chart if I put the green with red I’ll get 10.15 psi :eek: it was more like 14-15psi so I guess we’ll try black or yellow :D

It looks like the yellow spring is going to work at 10psi . 15 psi sure felt good at 3/4 throttle for a second but even if the afr’s are good I think that’s past the limit for stock bottom end and mine is at 230000 miles

I'll be interested to see what 10psi does for you on that set up. 12-13psi has been said to be about the limit for the stock rods. Thats with a tune.

On the plus side, you're not gonna get piston rings butting ends.

With a tune it’s probably close to the lean limit. I ran around yesterday on the freeway and around town at 11psi afr’s WOT were at 10.9 Today I took the manual boost out and put a spring in the wastegate rated at 7.25psi and it runs at 9.5-10psi according to my gauge.

lol I'm 10 psi on pinks with a tune. I think I just have a lot of turbine back pressure though.

4, one time right? and I mean surely atleast one of them would have to stay in so it could sing the others out right?
