    If an injector was sticking open would you lose fuel pressure when you turn off the engine.

    If an injector was sticking open, it would misfire like hell. If its dirty, and there is gunk in the injectors, it will not allow the pintle to seat correctly and allow fuel pressure to drop slowly when key off.

    What brings you to the question? Rather, what evidence do you have which makes you suspect an injector?

    No evidence I’m just over thinking because I’ve replaced everything fuel pump, fuel filter and gauge. I’ve been using the original fpr and the one I bought last year. I have the one that I bought in there right now

    Have you removed the vacuum hose to the FPR and capped to prevent vacuum leaks? Have you then started the engine to see where the needle moves?

    When I first start the truck called it barely wants to start and then it barely idols with the AFR’s at 9.8 after a little bit it warms up and the idol smooths out the Air Force go to 13.0-14.0. This time the pressure is at 40psi :notsure: I must have some other problem here idk

    You have a severe vacuum leak if taking the line off the FPR didn't modulate the idle..

    Sounds like it gets louder as you get closer to the throttle body. Look around there?

    When I drive around the block The power seems good but inconsistent pressure dropped a little bit. Could it all just be that it needs to be tuned is the pressure OK ?

    What are your fuel trims? your vacuum at idle is too low.. Find that leak!

    No, the chug at throttle open is a normal sound. The consistent "hiss" sound above everything else is the leak. When you traced the FPR line back to the throttle body, i heard the sound modulate a little bit. Check around there

    Do you already have larger than stock injectors in on the stock ECU? This sucks because your fuel trims are already going to be wack. If you had stockers in you could easily tell if you had a vacuum leak based on injector trim. If you were stock, you would see that your LTFTs are pretty high if you have a vacuum leak. When you rev it to like 3k, that LTFT would drop nearer to 0 because of the decrease in vacuum. It makes the vacuum leak less impact on the total fuel trim.

    Since you have larger injectors, this goes out the windows because your LTFT are probably very negative to begin with. you're probably just oging to have to get length of hose. Put 1 end to your ear, and move the other end around until you pinpoint the leak.

    That vacuum reading is in negative psi, so it's really 20 in hg. So vacuum is fine. It would take a MASSIVE vacuum leak to really affect that number much anyway.
