Perfect, search button works wonders lol
    I just pulled mine and it's M22x1.5. I did a quick search and there's plenty of M22 P1.5 to AN10 fittings

What's the best/easiest place to drain?

So, on that side of the block, on the upper oil pan, there is an open spot with a relatively smooth area. I was thinking of drilling and tapping in that area to thread in a fitting. It is above the level of the oil in the pan, so will promote drainage.

Yeah I've read a lot of folks do that, I was hoping there's a plug already somewhere lol. How about that plug forward of the filter, which I referred to in the other post?

Oh, no thats an oil galley lol its the same pressure as the plug you are pulling from the adapter. Thats where I would put an oil pressure sensor

I know I said this before but it looks like over the weekend I’ll be getting the type B harness. Of course before I start splicing I’ll make sure it fits then I can start tuning.

This is where I tapped for my drain. First pic, the red circle is the exact area. 2nd pic shows it completed from the outside

Is it easy to remove the oil pan on the 2TR? I've heard complaints on other engines

Honestly it wasn't as bad as we were expecting. It's much easier if you're 2WD, but not then end of the world if you're 4WD.
We removed the front diff & associated parts (front driveshaft, axles) and had an easy time getting all the lower pan bolts. I'd say total removal time was maybe 20min- but I have a lift to work on so it's cheating lol.

Seems like a lot of work...and I don't really get what the appeal of it is. Maybe I'm just out of touch lol

In other news, just got my flywheel back about an hour ago. SO shiny again! Will be installing the new clutch in a little while.

I don’t know anything about it, asking because maybe someone knew an advantage. I would definitely go about it a different way, they make preformed collectors.

Got the clutch installed super quickly today. What a difference in engagement! Stalled it driving from the lift, oops lol.
    MVIMG_20180324_152219.jpg MVIMG_20180324_154258.jpg

Just DEFINITELY need to adjust the pedal, as it engages (really damn hard) just a hair off the floor. Also finally got the IKH22 plugs in, so I'll be able to see what the changes are once I break in the clutch.

I'm probably going to be right behind you. If I understand correctly, LCE is only going to be offering a log manifold for the 2TR? I'd rather buy one of the alibaba mild steel kits.
