I know bro, it’s tough decision for me. But condition of the truck is going south. I was working on it Wednesday and started to see rust in places other than the roof. Salt air in hawaii is brutal.

 

It is, I started taking mine to car wash on base to spray underside and bay with fresh water at least once a week, try to twice.

Good News!!! I changed out the injectors from the 440cc to the pink tops (320cc)and lowered the boost to 6.5 psi. Drivability is back !! Going through the rpm range WOT the afr’s stay at 14.5 and then go to 12.7 which can be smoothed out with the AEM fic plus I think someone on here said they ran 10 psi with pink tops and AEM fic. I just need to learn how to use it.

 

I was at 90% duty cycle on pink tops with 10psi it still ran great though.

 

what brand were your 440's the aem should be able to trim them but you might be idling in the Low pulse width range of the injectors.

 

It may end up coming to that if I cant get them on the ball soon!

 

They are Osidetiger but I’m not even sure how to setup the setup page on the AEM. I figured it would be easier with the truck running good to learn how to use it. Also @boostedka is running the same 440cc stock ECU and no issues which makes me think there might be something wrong with my injectors

 

I had problems with osides also. It would run good but not idle good. you should use all my settings for the AEM. Then set all the maps to all zeros, from there you can start making corrections.



I also attached a map that was tuned on pink top injectors it should get you going.

 

I know a guy whom might be interested as well.
