    I hope I don’t blow it up before tuning it. I just did a first gear pull and when it got to 3500-4000rpm wot afr’s where at 17.00 o_O:eek: I’ll add more fuel up top.

    What the specs on it? They sound clean on the v6 trucks. Haven't heard it on a 4 banger yet

    I haven’t heard them on an i4 yet either i got the venom 250 its alittle bigger than the race venom so hopefully it prevents the drone a little better while still allowing for a nice aggressive tone

    If I keep adding fuel and it doesn’t change does that mean the injectors are already 100% duty cycle?

    In closed loop just get your lt trim under 10%


    Then you tune open loop.


    Last you can fine tune with o2 adjust

    A thing or two...
    Are you in open loop or closed loop? If you're in open loop, your injectors are maxed out. If you're in closed loop, the ecu is fighting you and pulling out what you are trying to add. In that case you have to modify the o2 sensor reading to make the ecu do what you want.

    It's WOT so I believe it's open loop. It could be I'm just not adding enough fuel otherwise I'll just have to lower the boost.

    How much have you tried adding so far? Has been any change or did the AFR drop some and then stop?

    GTX 3071r @8psi...
    The FIC will show you your injector duty cycles right on the main gauge display. If you log a pull, you can go back and view the duty cycles for each injector...

    I've gone from -0.8 to 8.0 on the fuel map in the high load high rpm range but I think if I do what @dirtdigginjoe said I'll know and if the injectors are maxed out I'll lower the boost.

    Not sure what scale this is, but the scale should be on percentage. So to me you are have only tried adding 8% fuel? I could be thinking about this wrong.

    So if you do the math (very roughly, mind you considering constant voltage and stable fuel pressure).... you have, what 240cc/min injectors? IDK what the 2.7s have, but he 3.4s have 240s stock. So 240x6=1440cc/min, for instance. You are adding only 8% to that, so you are increasing your fuel 115cc/min... That aint much LOL

    For example with my 550s, I'm pulling 50%+ fuel at idle...

    Ok I understand when you put it like that Thx and I'm running 320cc so 320x4=1280cc/min 8% would be 102.4cc/min still not much

    So, while small changes can make a big difference, we're usually talking about much larger injectors. +10% of 3,300cc/min is much more fuel than +10% 1440cc/min. And we're also referring to big changes being tenths of AFR points, once you are in the ballpark on your tune.
