I'll be buying some of those in a month or 2 also. Are those flanges 304 or mild?

 

First one will probably be all mild to save on some material costs.. but if its good, then i can make a stainless one

It wont be anywhere close to a stock replacement. IT will relocate the turbo forward a fair bit to keep room for a future engine cage

Nice so run it kinda like the v8 turbo trucks do? I finally decided I want to lower my engine cage down about 2-3 inches and extend the shock mounts up.

Nevermind that design is wild compared to what I had in mind.

 

I want all equal length as much as possible. So it will end up like that regardless

I'm going to enjoy this build again

 

So far the only easy area to keep mine is right where it is currently at. I'd like to lower it down about an inch.

 

I may be over simplifying things and it may be space prohibitive but could you not do 2 into1 on both ends and then join those 2 together and have equal length and do it out of some DOM or whatever log styles are and get the best of both worlds?

Is it that 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 need to be together or something?

 

I would point all primaries towards the turbo flange point, but yes.

I am planning on having an engine cage over the motor in the future, and it will be going over the engine over number 2 and 3 cylinders, so it needs to be moved to allow for all the bits

 

I’m going to try 7.5 psi I think that will work.

 

I gotcha i wasnt even think about 2 and 3 having like a 135° angle haha. Can u run ur turbo on the bottom of the mani for more head room? Would that be easier that trying to get equalish length and havin it more forward?
