    hey guys turbo newb here i was just wondering what all goes in to boosting a 2trfe (2.7L) is it just like anything else? I know you probably need rods/ pistons but what else goes in to it and how much do you guys usually spend on a full set up when it is set and done :)

    In it for less than $2500, since I did all the work at my best friend's shop. Haven't dynoed it until I get a decently streetable tune completed, but I can hold a dead even pace with a Ram at 6psi, as well as make a joke of the V6 tacos. ..stock it wasn't even remotely close, so I know I'm making mid-to-high 200's

    You have almost instaspool with that t28 turbo too right?

    Yessir, I hit 5psi by 2200 rpm lol. It's quite streetable and makes it so much more fun to drive.

    The manifold and downpipe I purchased from Ali Baba. Only fab work was relocating the MAF sensor and moving a couple AC lines.
