    It seems to be running good I just expected more power and more consistentcy. I still need to adjust timing a little more and I’m ready to put the 440cc’s in and up the boost back to 10psi

    More or less. If the weather would stop changing it keeps going from 50’s at night to 85 during the day.

    I understand that haha- but what I meant is, at it's lowest setting is it too much pressure for the system? IDK what PSI the 2TR runs

    Can you elaborate on this. The compression would be lower/higher than stock 2TR? If a 3RZ piston will be in the 9-10 range then that would be perfect for me.

    I'll check that out when I get home. On my last piece of tubing that didn't have a bead, I just welded a bead on opposing sides of thw circumference of the tube. No extra tools needed. Just a steady hand and a steady foot.

    Yeah obviously welding is prolly the best way to do it, but for those of us with out tigs/tig skills this looks very viable and its $20

    Dirt King Mid travel with King 2.5 coilovers, Baja Kits chase SUA with 14in fox smoothies under custom hangars.
    Stock is 9.6:1 so I would go 9 or less.. I don't know the exact measurements, but the compression should lower just a tad with 3rz stuff, as it has a lower compression stock. The CC's of the combustion chambers might be different too but thats another unknown for me right now

    Maybe I was reading the compression of the new engine, I know it’s more. I guess 9.6 to 8.5 isn’t too big of a jump? :confused:

    You’re absolutely right, 10.2 on new 2TR. Maybe I was really drunk when I read that and combined the two to 10.6 :rofl:
