I have no idea how the emissions work in your area, but I have to go full stock to get all my senors to check in.

Piggybacks should have no effect on your OBD2 monitor status...That's why you use a piggyback. It's only interpreting the signals from the factory ECU, modifying them, and sending back regular signals. This is the most obvious when you're tuning your fuel map and watching the change on your additional wideband. At that time, your factory O2 sensor would still be reading 14.7, as the AEM is fooling the ECU into thinking it's where it wants to be.

Long story short- no, the AEM should not be an issue with emissions readiness. As long as your tune isn't a complete dumpster fire, your monitors should be good. If not, just connect the bypass harness and do a drive cycle.

It passed emissions with the turbo and no aem so I am suspecting it’s something to do with the Aem Which only took five minutes to disconnect and put back to stock thanks to the patch harness. I’m trying that and then I’ll let you guys know hopefully it passes

What else do you think would cause so many things to not check in and be incomplete ?

I thought of it when I saw @Jstand and was like, "huh it almost looks similar- let me do it" lol

And Jason, as far as anything not checking in, I mean it could have to do with the AEM but it certainly shouldn't. You haven't reset a CEL recently have you?

Unless you installed the AEM wrong it will not have any effect on any OBD 2 checks. Additionally, using the bypass could be more problematic if you've installed larger injectors or fuel pump. Also.. Dear god I wouldn't let emissions guys anywhere near my turbo'd truck if it wasn't tuned appropriately. They fucking 100% throttle it for like 3 minutes straight.

Edit: If you're tuned only on boost you can try disconnecting your charge pipes. This will basically make the engine run as completely stock. The downside is your turbo is spooling at 100% so you're risking it's longevity.

Most states have adapted to simple plug in, no sniffing.

Mine is almost the same as yours with F/IC. Don't have anything stock to compare to in the next few hours.

I did have to reset a CEL recently but the first time I went for inspection they said to drive for 50 miles so I did then came back and same thing. I disconnect the battery took out the Aem let it set for 10 min and drove 15 miles with no change so I’ll drive another 35 and see if it changes. On one of the apps I use for diagnostic it shows me if it’s ready for emissions test or not. That would have saved two trips. If there is no change as much as I hate to I’ll have to do the “$100 inspection” this time.

This is what I do to get my truck to check in. I can usually get all sensors to check in under 20 minutes.

The aem should not stop these from completing how many miles have you put on since you clear the codes? You need to put at least 100 miles for the checks to be completed
