Earlier I said I didn’t want to hassle with selling it but my lovely wife said she will sell it and that she’ll try to get $4000 posible but i don’t know.

@MrCrowntown I'm getting to that point where I'm waiting on stuff to be made.
I'm basically waiting on the pistons, budgeting for the fuel management. The exhaust manifold will be the last piece before engine swap... then tuning

 

So you bought a spare motor to turbo and in the process tore it down to build?

Just a rebuild or forged internals?

 

I got a great deal on an engine with a blown head gasket. I passed a 7 thousands feeler on the head but the shop had to take 18 to remove a spot. I’m upgrading the rods and pistons with forged parts. The valve train appears to be good for my plans so I’m not doing much there.

 

Holes cut!!! I think the IC will fit nicely and out of the way!!!

 

I'm going to be making a list of all the things that I'll be selling very soon and hope to help some fellow turbo-lo-nions with their builds.

 

Not a yota, or even a truck, but we're buttoning up a turbo install on my buddies kia today. Hoping to make 12lbs for 250ish whp.

Got my truck back together (new turbo/ Head gasket-arp studs.) In throwing a maf sensor code I think

$11 ps100 000 prep grease and wax remover automotive spray paint primer - 11 oz. aerosol can

ps100 or something like that. Ran good for the past couple days. Truck doesnt want to idle and I have to give it has but it is still drivable, just stalls when I get to a red light or put it in neutral. Any ideas? Should I clean the sensor? Anybody run into this?

 

For anyone who might be interested I have an AEM Fic #30-1910 already wired to a type B patch harness. It has the resistors already in the right places thx to @arcenik also have the rear o2 sim not wired in. PM me if interested.

Check the wires, check the sensor. Double check the code. Is it plugged in all of the way?

 

This actuator has been agonizing to get right.
