I’m glad to hear that all worked out well for you.

That’s pretty interesting about the turbo from KO. Kris is a legit dude for sure. Perhaps he’d be interested to know about your findings. Maybe he isn’t aware of the parts inside the turbos he’s using in his kits.

Which Precision turbo did you go with?

It’s not just idle you got the whole closed loop. Auto tune on that doesn’t work like a haltech or mega squirt auto tune

Hell I have to look tomorrow I know its paradise racing's stage 1 it's a full t3 not t3/t4 hybrid but its bigger than my last one. I'll have to look.

And yeah kris was so helpful and always answered questions if I had any. Also it's his word against that guy that tore the turbo down. His manifold and downpipe/Intake pipe is holding up extremely well. I starved the turbo myself so I wasnt gonna like bitch about it because I still probably would have ruined a more expensive one anyway ( big oil feed leak on first start up, fixed it right away only had truck running for 10 seconds. And then a couple months later the oil feed line had been touching the exhaust manifold and burned a hole in it. Luckily I only drove the truck .5 miles to where I wanted to go and then realized there was a huge puddle of oil under my truck when I got out ) idk if those 2 incidents could cause this but I ran that turbo for another probably like 3 months after that happened like full sending it hahaha. I put the kit on my truck last October. 20180419_165829.jpg Snapchat-1493426931.jpg thmb_20171124_071042_1511_1511525521975.jpg

For what its worth you shouldn’t have to be persistent with a company your spending thousands with. Also if you ever call and go “luis whats the pinout for the harness you wired in” you basically get laughed at.
Read his reviews on fb and the like lots of people end up having alot of issues with his responses and phone availability..

No doubt the “stock” quality brands thats why I originally ordered so much from him I wasn’t smart enough to peice together a kit and he made it seem like he was only a phone call away.
Problem is getting a hold of him is impossible
Lead times go from 4 weeks to 3 months with no heads up...
Depending on how busy he is he has been like I need to go I’m really busy.

Look I’ll admit he sold me great stuff and his exhaust manifold is top notch... but I payed a premium for everything so it friggen should be! His customer service is so hit or miss depending on the day/month that I don’t think I’ll be spending money there anymore

The mapECU3 only "auto tunes" in MAP/MAF Elimination mode. Even then, all it does is read the value coming from the sensor and put it in the table. You still have to go through and make adjustments.

Yeah I was thinking it would get me closer than I am now. But since I dint have an afr hooked to the mapecu3 it may end badly.

I'm still getting a bank 2 sensor 1 stuck rich code. Could something else cause that?

Are you running MAF intercept or MAF elimination mode? If you're MAF intercept then zeroing out the table puts you back to stock.

Are you running stock injectors or bigger than stock? Maybe one is leaking or stuck open.

Maf intercept and the 61# injectors from urd
I had a halfway decent tune but then it started throwing that o2 sensor code and I thought I was just tuned too rich so I messed with it some and could t get it to fix so I replaced the o2 sensor and the code came back within a couple miles so I tried redoing the tune last night and cleared the code and now its terrible

Do you have the tune file of when it ran well?

If so, the try reloading the MAPECU software. Been dealing with this recently on my friend's 2TR s/c truck.

Reloaded the software, then loaded the good map back in. Problem solved.

Clearly a leaking problem. The oil is caked up, around the seal. What I am also curious of, is was the clocking of the center housing too many degrees from "0"? Causing a draining issue as well?

Off clocked, and turning off an engine immediately after some boostage fun, can cook that oil in the center cartridge just the same, as an inconsistent feed problem.

When it ran everything in vacuum was set around -.30 v and now its at -.11-.12v just to not die and all I've done is swap in a new o2 sensor

You mean reload the software on to the laptop? I think all I have saved is the stock tune that madtaco sent me and I have just made fuel corrections from there; never bothered saving it because it was just working, not working super well

Both banks are going super rich and if the tune hasn't changed then I would assume the interface/interceptor to the MAF has an issue? Has this been checked out?

The only thing I have changed is the fuel table (and the new o2 sensor) it ran "fine" on the way home from work and has ran for several months with the check engine light on with this tune. I started pulling fuel across the table and everything went super lean and so I had to add back way more fuel than the rich tune I had before just to get it to run

What do you have in your AFR Adjust table? You may need to tweek that table for the new sensor?
