    I know Kurt on CT was able to get his Megasquirt to log knock using a GM knock sensor. I don’t know all of the ins and outs of how he did it but a Megasquirt 3 could possibly be an option on your list of EMS.

    If you are making a race motor, then get the knock control. It is useful when tuning right up to the knock threshold, but won't be necessary with the average street tune.

    ^ like what he said. Depends on how rowdy of a tune you want. For me I want a 1000 so I know I can just lay into the throttle hard going up a sand hill.

    just kidding, but I think 1500 is sweet spot on price vs features, with a little future taco proofing

    They're 1st gens. You're a 2nd gen. You need the 1500 because that's the lowest model that does throttle-by-wire.

    I just ordered a new oil pan mine is super flaky around the factory welds and has a small weep I must of never noticed before when i had the akid plate on 24/7 but i was inspecting the turbo lines and saw it so I cleaned it up and drove some and sure enough it is weeping :( damn New England winters

    Still can’t figure out the high idle issues. I’m searching high and low for any possible vacuum leaks but today’s turential downpours are slowing that down.

    Isn't your TB cable driven? If so, see if you can manually close it some, while it is idling.

    Yeah, I'm just gonna spring for the 1000, I tend to lay into the engine hard and I'd like to have the added bonus of not detonating it and having another metric to tune around.

    Tru dat, I'll have to call Haltech just because I want to know the difference it has listed between the two for short and long term knock mapping. $75 is by no means a deal breaker at this point I'm just curious

Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
    Just take a couple of them out ans U should be good brah

    Does the idle adjust when you set it with the haltech? You can try adjusting the changing the stepper calibration on the idle page. From normal to reverse.
