The haltech will let you do just about anything. I think a VE tune will allow what you are asking, which is 100% possible with the elite 2000

 

The shitty part of this, is that they post on facebook every day too

 

Oh yeah you can do all of that. Cool thing about a standalone. You will have full control over the whole engine. Depends on how creative you are.

 

I would of be on there everyday. "So have you shipped my stuff yet that I ordered 6 weeks ago?" Just so you have a public comment. Even though it will probably be deleted.

I'm sure you'll keep it pretty formal and organized, but take a screenshot of your post too so you can also use that if they try to delete it. Always great to have a paper trail

Left a comment that I purchased $700 in parts 3 months ago and haven't received them or communication. I just send a follow up message on PayPal demanding communication by COB today or I'm escalating the case.

Question for you stand alone knowledgeable guys.... what would you guess would happen if I hooked up my Megasquirt but had my stock ecu control the IAC valve?

Lol. I’ve been trying to figure out why I couldn’t get my truck’s idle to lower. I did some reading and found out the Megasquirt doesn’t work directly with these types of IAC’s. It was basically stick open. Some board modifications have to be made that are probably beyond my ability to make it work correctly. So I though about letting the stock ecu control it

 

I was reading something about that for it. Sounds like you need a a bit of hardware to adjust your scaling. Does kurt on ct have the same ICA as you?

 

I disconnected the vaccume lines. Weird cause it shouldn’t cause a problem. I even had the harness disconnected for a few weeks not knowing, on stock ecu and didn’t throw any codes

 

I might be confused, but isn't your truck drive by wire? I don't think you have mechanical vacuum lines for idle.
