    Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
    on the injector note, what size are the stock 4.0 injectors, specifically in relation to the 61# urd injectors? like if I am running e85 which needs like 35% more fuel how much extra injectors do I have and or how bad will a stock tune run on these while I street tune for the larger injectors?

    so since they are more than double the size of oem even with a 35% difference in fuel need it will idle very poorly during the initial tune...

    are there some safe ball park figures to load to the ecu prior to start up, or do you just deal with it while you input data?

    Is it just a normal thing with turbos for the engine to die if you spool it up then let off suddenly ?

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
    Short answer is yes but that is because people setup their MAF/BOV incorrectly.

    Long answer: Depending on where you mount your MAF and BOV, boosting and then letting off the gas can cause the air flow to be measured twice by the MAF. The MAF doesn't care which way the air is flowing, it just measures flow. This can cause the ECU to continue to add fuel and your engine will go way rich and stall out.

    If your BOV is mounted between the MAF and the TB, when your TB closes and BOV opens, the air flows out the BOV but the flow is still measured by the MAF.

    If your BOV is mounted between the MAF and turbo, when the TB closes, the pressureized air flows back towards the BOV but the MAF will only measure the air between your TB and MAF.

    There are a lot of thoughts on how to fix this issue. Personnally I recomend mounting your MAF as close to the TB as possible to limit how much air back flows over the MAF. I also recomend you tighten up your BOV so its not dumping all the air too quickly.

    The MAF is in the stock position right after the airfilter and the bov (turbosmart Kompact recirc. w/green spring 19hg) between turbo and TB going to between airfilter and turbo

    From the research I did before my turbo install I found that they are about 315cc. ~10% increase over the browns

    I'm going to Osidetiger 540cc that I'm planning on running with a Megasquirt MS3. I just need to have the time to finish the install. I have most of the wiring done and sitting in the garage....but then life started happening....

    I've been running them on my stock ECU for about a year now @8psi intercooled without any issues. They replaced the exact same injectors you currently have.
