I DO NOT recommend them for anything. I've had to spend hundreds to replace parts they fu%#ed up.
I did not let them know I measured everything beforehand, just told them EXACTLY what to do and made my intentions clear. I had an itemized list and their quoted prices before I gave them the go ahead. Took it upon themselves to do other work that I didn't ask for and was not necessary to increase out the door price by over $500!
Took entirely too much off the original head I sent.
I may have to replace the crank too because they thought would be nice to tell me they "went ahead and polished" the pins for me- they took it out of spec!!! It didn't need anything done except the balance I brought it in for (and was completely optional, I was doing just because).
That place is a joke.

I was told repeatedly to go to Snyder Machine Works but due to the horrible traffic on Oahu and little time to get away from work during the day I opted for Ted's because it was closer.

Damn!! I’m Sorry to hear that man. They probably did that since business was slow? Hate that. I’ve heard Snyder’s did some nice work. Heard Island cylinder head was sketch too. Thanks for the feed back.

Should hold them accountable if parts fail.

 

I hate this about our culture. We catch so much shit about suing each other over everything, but it's because integrity is slipping from our culture and people do selfish shit like this. This would NEVER happen if I was in Japan.

 

That is the unfortunate truth. Plus Japanese just take pride in their work. I’ve been going back and forth in my head wether to live there part time.

 

America was that way too but as a whole it's about making money not a product.
Unfortunately, if all your customers are ignorant then nobody knows you do crap work. How many people have the means/ability to check a machine shop?

 

Anyways, to salvage the crank I got some .25mm oversized bearings Toyota offers and will have to go to SNYDER'S to machine to spec.

 

Gloss black emblems look way better than matte black IMO.

I cannot help with what you request, but I am curious what kind of wizardry you are going to conjure up?

 

I need to find out what a wire goes to that plugs into the top of my ECU under the drivers side dash.



I need to know what the tan/peach wire goes to?
