Basically, I have an internal debate between how long to run higher phosphorus for break-in and the longevity of my cat lol
.... but I’m considering a new exhaust so that guy would be replaced so...

 

I don't think you need any extra ZDDP since you dont have any flat tappets. Just keep your oil changed often.

 

The reason for going turbo, for me, was to be able to get up H3 to to Harano Tunnels on leeward side in 5th.
Well, mission accomplished.
I hit 7.1 psi for a moment at the end, but was 3-5 psi throughout the 5 minute climb.
Cruise set at 65 and held the whole way up

Well, it doesn’t exactly work with the FlexPod, I had to turn the housing for the 1/2” plastic protrusion on the CAN Gauge’s face for it to clear the steering wheel. It’s mounting system isn’t compatible too. I basically shoved it in and turned the housing so it’s wedged in place. I’m not really happy and think I’m going to contact both companies and ask what they were thinking because the only compatibility options are the size and they match, 52mm

Hah nice goal with the h3. I remember when I had my toyota pickup with a 22re, it struggled going up. I had to drop to 4th and sometimes 3rd just to keep up with highway speeds.

 

For those not as blessed as @RedLantern to live in the most remote place on earth, here's a video of the H3 to the tunnel I spoke of. You really can't tell the incline in the video, but since the start of the video he has already been climbing, the last 1 minute to the tunnel is ridiculously steep.

My absolute favorite view is coming out the other end on a clear day, overlooking Kāneʻohe Bay and sand bar. You can get an idea in this video, you'll see the H3 coming out the side of the Ko'olau.

That is quite a lovely set up! I just love how everything flows, it’s so clean.

 

What’s standard, 3rd/4th?

 

No tune, out the box 3rd 2-4K.
I see my 10psi spring tops out at 8.9psi, think I'll put the 11psi spring in (or install a boost controller)

I just noticed the coolant temp decreased as I accelerated lol

 

Just did the first oil change at 500 miles. The Fumoto valve I added to the cartridge works really well, makes it quick and mess free

If you can get Redline oil engine break-in oil locally, add that to your Castrol or Mobile One. Then no worries about making sure it is adequate for Gasoline engines. That or Lucas oil.

I do the same, as well as use European formula, since they have higher anti-wear additives.
