    Lets see..

Stock crank(good for gobs of HP)
    Forged cross beam rods
    Forged 9.5:1 pistons
ARP head studs, std size for now

1mm oversized valves w/ Hardened seats
Dual valve springs w/ Titanium retainers and caps
    Ported intake and exhaust runners
Stock cams for now(Will have a custom grind done after I max the stock ones out)

    76mm throttle body
    Fabricated forward facing intake

Still need to get a turbo header made up for my EFR7670

But, that's where I am at as of now.

They already added valves and valve springs and updated listings for the balance shaft deletes to include the 2TR.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how high @MrCrowntown takes it.

Not to detract from this exciting development, but could someone school me up on intake vvti tuning for boost and what benefits exhaust vvti would have for turbochargers.

The quick and dirty TL;DR is that vvt on the exhaust side allows you to add more overlap at lower engine speeds to add a scavenging effect and increase low end torque/spool up the turbo more quickly.

Well my fuel gauges seems tonhave slowly "fixed" itself... The light was on after filling up last night and the gauge slowly rose the whole way home (18 miles or so) and this morning it showed almost full; just a few miles down the road it was topped off... You think I need to get a bucket ready to catch the gas that is about to start pouring out?

So you're the reason they've put the valve kit out there recently?!:burnrubber:

I really wanted to live the turbo life. Then I realized it isn't cheap and thrashing mud/water holes and bouncing over trees and rocks might not be friendly to the intercooler.
Then I got 4.88s and a PowerTrax in the rear. Freakin game changer right there fellas! The truck is much muchier, just sucks balls driving 70 mph at 3k rpm on 33" km2s :notsure: dirty vibes on the shortish list

Now that LCE is getting around to more R&D on the 2tr, the header is definitely next up for engine/drivetrain performance. The valve kit may take some thought processes to figure out how to be as efficient (read as "cheap" too) as possible so my truck isn't down more than a weekend. As they progress on their side, my wallet gets more and more shallow...

    I still vote turbo life.

Not really any different than your radiator... I'll hopefully be adding an air/water intercooler soon.

It isn't completely off the table, but not a top priority for a good while. Just worried about gumming up the intercooler with our thick Kentucky red clay. Lower 3rd of my radiator will likely never clean up, tried many times.
I didn't know they were working on a cam! Surely it will be back since they're working on top end components now.

There will be cams coming. Partially because I want turbo cams and also a higher lift N/A cam.

And yes, I am the reason for the addition of 2tr things. I literally dropped off the block and said "here, now make it" and they did. Lol

Well, new airbox isn't working out. Truck stalls out when revving and letting off. I'm hoping it's just this crappy filter being too restrictive. Fuel trims are a little negative at idle.

Learned a good bit about working with sheet metal. Welding it warps the shit out of it. If it works with the afe filter I ordered I'll likely go back and make another box and build it slightly differently.
