    A thing or two...
    Lube the gasket/o-ring sealing the MAF to the intake pipe. Not the sensor itself.

    I have a leak on my exhaust, pre turbo. Pre AEM. Post Haltech sensors. It reads lean until I am under load. Still skewed though. Your leak is very likely skewing your reading as well.

    Which is independent of the MAF issue.

    I feel if everything else checks out, it may be then Map-Ecu3. Either in the tuning or the system.

    Friend kept getting MAF codes. Adjusted his tune and cleared his up.

    I know my tune could use some adjustment I think my next step is to recheck all the wiring and start tweaking the tune more. As well as fix the exhaust leak.

    Oh yeah and lube my shit lol.

    It's one of those amazing AutoZone specials but there is a silicone ring in there.

    Would a bent or stuck valve on the intake side cause the engine to run lean? I didn't mention it but I had a timing cel code for a while but it went away after an oil change. There's has been ticking sound coming from the intake side for a while now. The engine hasn't had the nicest of lives.

    10w30 and what do you mean by interval? I'm going to pick up a leak down and compression tester the next couple of days and run some tests. Glad some performance valves have been released but the real question is when are cams coming lol I feel a refresh is coming

    I did follow the maintenance light which used to be every 5000 miles but recently I realized it would be off by an extra 1000 miles because of my tire size. So for now on I'm going to be doing it more frequently.

    Well the compression test went well 120 psi across the board. I won't be able to do a leak down until the weekend. I know the lifters are hydraulic so they don't require adjustment but is it possible that some of mine are clogged causing the ticking sound?

    Is 120 psi pretty ok for the 2tr? My 1gr was between 190-210

    This, as I am curious what the normal spec for 2TR compression is as well? It is good however, that they are equal.

    Actually, yes it is. Sometimes the compression can be good due to oil thickness, but a leak down will prove that it is not holding compression properly. I ran across this exact scenario with one of my engines that had bad piston slap and scored cylinders. It was reading 180, but was having a lot of blow-by. The leak down would have shown. I opted for the bore-scope method. That is hard to see valves with though.

    So mighty car mods just released a video where they pull the lash adjusters out because of a ticking noise.
