    Just clicked on the link. Looks like a nice product.

    At the very bottom of that article it has a diagram for routing a catch can. I'd imagine it would be similar for your setup. He does talk about issues with the pcv valve and airflow.

    Absolutely! Sorry. Been to busy to properly think. You need a lot of unrestricted flow out of that port. Or Ohm's law. Path of least resistance.

    Mine were Bspt thread. I tapped them to match the closest NPT size. Completely up to you though

    Well, looked over the AOS-R sale page and noticed the diagram... I may have plumbed it wrong. Notice the brown star, seems I should plug the PCV port and the top vent goes to the AOS-R, not get a filter.
    "For AOS crankcase plumbing, the valve cover vent(s) are routed into the top inlet where the stainless steel condensing material separates the oil from the gasses."

    I think it's more like no one has tried it because they just haven't, no particular reason I don't think. They DIYPNP seems interesting however, but it wasn't around when I turboed mine.

    The DIYPNP only works with 95-97s too.

    But They make cool pinout adaptor for you to use with really any ECU you want and the stock harness.

    Well @Speedytech7 has told me to not bother with the DIYPNP. But man...for 500 bucks for a full Standalone? hard to pass up. Haltech is 4x as much.

    Exactly, making the harness from scratch isn't too hard with a URD extension and all the pinouts.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    The goldbox is the one to have if you're going MS. But Haltech elite 1500 or 2000 or Motec M300 are tempting too being under 2k for a setup and a harness stub

    It's just a really stripped down ecu. No full self learn so drivability is all going to be up to you for part throttle around town shit, and it totally doesnt have to be because just about every other ECU can do that. No knock module, it might be able to be added though they aren't clear on that. No low impedance injector control either. It's not a bad ECU but it's built for a purpose, and that purpose seems to be for someone who's gonna use it as a track vehicle. Dyno tune, run at track, tweak at track, trailer home. It could be made to work for around town stuff too of course but it makes it all tougher than it needs to be. My point is, the exu in your truck now is an idiot, why spend $500 on another ECU that's an idiot too when 300-500 more gets you an ECU that doesn't make you work hard to get the boring stuff (around town, part throttle, closed loop fueling, idle control circuits) all setup right. Changing conditions in the world are going to make you always have to fuck with those if the ECU doesn't have a good self learn.
