The Audi TT engine is transverse mounted and the exhaust manifold is against the firewall.

 

So is the k20 irrc in the 2009 era civics

 

I don't know about Hondas. I just know of the TT from one of the YouTube channels that I watch.

All the FWD turbo VWs are like this. Mine is and after putting a new mani and turbo it's heated the firewall and backside of the hood/engine bay quite a bit. I finally wrapped the manifold in fiber and it's helped a lot.

 

Just not fun doing a turbo swap when your turbo is near the firewall.

 

Why am I still the newb here, need fresh blood and issues

 

We should get some newbs once the OVTuned twin kit comes out.

So I'm 1 episode in to a netflix original called "hyperdrive" I think... It looks pretty dang fun; just a huge obstacle course in an "abandoned manufacturing plant" spoiler: the old guy in the ~2000 vette doesn't fair well haha


It is dumber down a little bit for gen pop but its a bunch of cool cars and good drivers

There's at least one aerospace company headquartered there, but they're moving a lot of their work out of Sac.

 

I am still waterimg the seed that I have planted in my friend's head about a turbo. Hopefully by next year we'll have a GTX28 on his 2TR.
